When considering to have breast plastic surgery, seek information from various sources. The Internet is of course a good place to start. However, there are so many sites dedicated to providing information on plastic surgery, it can be confusing. Two main authority sites that you should bookmark are:

This is the official site for The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS). This is the leading organization of board-certified plastic surgeons specializing in cosmetic plastic surgery
Other countries should have their own governing bodies that regulate plastic surgery.
Once you have gathered information on the procedure you are considering, you should discuss your thoughts with others who you trust. In this process, you should start building a list of questions specifically about breast surgery to ask surgeons. You should also ask about other aspects associated with all surgical procedures, such as anaesthesia.
It is advisable to arrange a number of consultations with different plastic surgeons, and ask each surgeon the same questions. This will allow you to gauge which surgeon to choose. Pick a surgeon who gives you ample time at the consultation period and answers all your questions satisfactorily. Make notes during the consultations so you can remember which surgeon impressed you most. You are interviewing them as much as they are interviewing you!
After having your consultations, give yourself more time to let the information sink in. If, after this process, not one surgeon stands out, do not go with any of them, and start the process again. It may be tempting to simply go with the best one after all your hard work, but it is really not worth it in the long run. Further, you should try not to let money be a deciding factor in your decision. In life, we tend to get what we pay for, and this is as true of plastic surgery as anything else.
