To reduce the consuming capacity of patient stomach, lap band is mounted over it. It is mounted in such a way, that it creates new small stomach of 5 to 10 ml. After the surgery the mini stomach is created so that the obese patient may consume less food. As he/she consume less food ultimately lose weight.
