When you lose fat and build muscle you gain more strength, energy and can live longer.

You may lose fat through a changed diet and more exercise. You may want to eat less fat and carbohydrates. They are high in calories. Rather eat more fruits and vegetables. You may also eat more protein foods such as chicken and fish. Drink enough water and eat less salt.

You can do cardiovascular exercises or train with weights to help you burn fat and build muscle. A good workout trainer will be able to work out a personalized workout for you.

When is the best time to do fat loss exercises?

You may want to train in the morning. You can do cardiovascular exercises. Exercising in the morning raises your metabolism for the rest of the day. Therefore you can burn more fat and have more energy during the day.

What foods may help you to burn fat?

You may include fresh fruits such as apples and berries in you daily diet. You can also eat more citrus fruits such as grapefruit, lemons and oranges. Include herbs such as cayenne pepper, cinnamon and ginger. These are foods that may help you to burn fat.
