A Beginners Guide To Hairloss

Hairloss is upsetting regardless of your gender, race or social status. The vast majority of people would be willing to do anything to prevent it or cure it. This has led to a hairloss and hair replacement industry that makes billions of dollars per year in pure profit. Unforunately not all of this profit is earned fairly or even legally. There are dozens, if not hundreds, of sneaky companies who know they can make a quick buck from people suffering from hairloss - all they have to do is make promises that they can cure or prevent it and people will hand over any amount of money. Many of the supposed 'cures' and 'treatments' on the market are all but worthless.
Another thing to bear in mind is the actual term hairloss itself - its often misused. It has become a 'catchall' phrase to cover both genetic(hereditary) and non-hereditary hairloss. Hairloss has two distinct branches.
Genetic/Hereditary hairloss This is an inherited form of hairloss - the genetic trait probably coming from your mother. Most people assume that if their father was bald theyll be bald - you actually need to look at your mothers father. Genetic hairloss can affect both men and women.
Non-hereditary hairloss Any type of hairloss that is non-genetic normally falls under the banner of non-hereditary hairloss.
Its important to have a solid understanding of what type of hairloss youre dealing with before attempting to treat it. Theres a lot of misinformation out there and you should always question any treatment that claims to be 100% effective... if that was the case why is anybody in the world bald, balding or suffering from hairloss?
